Although, the two terms use the word “light” each of them has a different purpose of hair. Highlights and Lowlights mean that they both share the coloring of strands in hair by using paper or freehand technique to create a contrast effect with your base color. These sections should always be combined perfectly, and it can only be done with a magical touch, of hairdressing!

What are Highlights?

The main purpose of adding highlights to your hair is to brighten up the overall color of your hair, adding softness and dimension to it. Never go more than 3 shades lighter.
